After the writing of my first book – Defensive Shooting Solutions for Sailors and Boaters, I was truly fortunate to meet several interesting people and have made some incredible new friends. Through them and others, I received several excellent reviews. The majority of the reviews stated that the information could be used not just for boating and live-aboards, but in many other situations, including your home and in everyday life. 

 

So, after taking a few new defensive shooting courses and doing more research, I added some additional information. The information in this book can now be applied to everyday life, as well as being valuable information for boating, liveaboard and travel. Now you should be able to apply what you might consider doing on a boat and modify it to your home and vise-versa. As an example, in one chapter I mention filming an event, either a crime taking place against you while on your boat, or when law enforcement arrive to investigate the crime; this can be applied to all aspects of your everyday life.

 

Writing this book has been an adventure and like all adventures there is never a bad one. I say it at the end of this book and let me also say it at the beginning.
